Pedagogic innovation

In order to attract the best students, innovative courses are planned at the L3 and Master levels. They will be directly related to the expertise and forces of CHARMMMAT’s research topics such as: “emerging selective catalysis” “emerging and innovative techniques in physical-chemistry and spectroscopy” and “from computer modeling to material sciences”.

Doctoral courses

Courses and thematic schools for PhD students related to the expertise of CHARMMMAT participants are available in the educational program of University Paris Saclay.

The training axis organizes the CHARMMMAT Catalysis School (2015 and 2017).

In the first edition the following courses has been given to an audience of 35 PhD students:

• Pr. Vincent Gandon (ICMMO, Université Paris Sud): Metal-Catalyzed Pericyclic reactions
• Pr. Gwilherm Evanno (Université Libre de Bruxelles): Palladium and Copper: two complementary metals in catalysis
• Pr Jacques Rouden (ENSICEAN, Caen): Introduction to Organocatalysis (Assymetric)

Training Committee

Its role is to coordinate training offers and pedagogic initiatives related to the research topics of the LabEx.
